Management Team
Sidcup Day Nursery Family
Our staff are selected carefully and are chosen on their qualifications and/or experience and personal qualities. Our team regularly attend staff meetings, training sessions and courses to ensure they are up to date with standards of nursery practice. Team work and positivity is very important to us as children need to have positive role models who respect and value each other.
We follow a Safer Recruitment Employment process, all staff are DBS checked, references are sought for and having knowledge and interest in Early Years is key for us. All staff at Sidcup Day Nursery & Forest School have enhanced DBS checks and are all hold Paediatric First Aid certificates.
Each child receives individual support from their Key Worker to enable them to become happily active, motivated learners. In this way, children learn the value of achievement through their own curiosity and ideas. We encourage children to learn about social and community relationships and enjoy responsibility and acknowledgement of their own choices and actions. At Sidcup Day Nursery, our staff recognise that all children are different and nurture each child as an individual.
